Happy Anniversary
This past Sunday, on July 29, Hash and I celebrated our 2nd anniversary. Alhumdulillah, how time flies. Our parents threw us a party in the afternoon, and in the evening, one of my close friends, S.S. got married.
I must say, Alhumdulillah, I am very blessed to have married Hash.
It is quite ironic that one of my closest friends got married on the same day as my anniversary. She entered with the same instrumental song I entered, Rebel Heart by The Corrs. Her wedding was absolutely beautiful. As the sun set over the downtown Toronto skyline, the beautiful bride entered the hall. It was quite an evening. It was also a bit of a nostalgic evening - she is the last out of my close group of friends to be married. As we all sat there with our husbands (and some with children), we realized how times have changed since those carefree undergrad days at UTM. To the couple: may Allah SWT bless your marriage with love and happiness in the years to come. Ameen.

i'm 1 of ur new readers- i'm from the beautiful south africa and i really enjoy reading ur blog! Mubarak on ur 2nd anniversary n noor, i'm hittin my 4th anniversary wit my 2nd child on the way n ur blog helps me relax alot, jazakallah! Please keep posting more often and i understand its hard wit a little 1 but my daughter is 2yrs old and believe me as they get older they get easier!
i've been reading quite a few canadian bloggers and was disturbed by the way the western propoganda had skewed their views abt the afghans, n osama n a few other thngs and it makes me make shukr 4 south africa, we hav a beautiful islamic environment here but more on that later. U hana and hash dispell my view tho, i can c that u 2 thnk 1st as muslims than canadians- Alhamdulillah.
