A few more movie reviews

This past week was movie-viewing craziness.

We watched Departed (Jack Nicholson, Matt Damon, Leonardo DiCaprio, etc.) It was the only movie I've seen where (spoiler coming up!!) the main characters die! Anyway, it was a good movie. They could have chosen a better female protagonist though... I think they blew their budget on a stellar male cast and couldn't afford to hire a better female lead!

We also watched "Road to Paradise," a movie about the making of suicide bombers. It was pretty interesting. The movie showed how the young men were duped into becoming bombers. I think this was a Toronto International Film Festival movie, but I'm not sure. The movie is in Arabic, so if you don't like subtitles, keep that in mind.
