Movie Review: Water
We watched the movie Water a few days ago. It is a movie about a child bride who becomes a widow at an early age. It was a great movie... very thought-provoking. The characters, cinematography, etc. were great. Although you can see the movie in English, you should watch it in Hindi with subtitles. That captures the true nature of the culture and society that is being depicted.
Bottom line: This movie gets two thumps up from Hash and Hana.

As depressing as this movie gets, I absoluely loved it. The little girl was amazing as the main character. It really is a sad ending, that will bring you close to tears (even the tough-exteriored ones will choke up a bit) but such a great story.
